God at the Beach August 13
Have you gotten to the beach lately?
God at the Beach is cancelled for July, due to the Whittier Fire. 
Everyone is welcome to join in a brief, casual, yet spiritual celebration of the Eucharist and a potluck picnic lunch at Refugio Beach State Park Sunday, August 13. We will celebrate Eucharist around 11 am, enjoy a main course that is provided, and shared side dishes and desserts (please bring something to add to the table if you can). Bethania Lutheran and St. Mark’s are joining together for this fun summer outing…
All can come early or stay later to enjoy one another and the beach. Ideal for all ages....
When facing the ocean, meet up at the far right of the beach, near the picnic tables and the far right edge of the parking lot.
What better way to welcome summer and its offerings and to give God thanks for the beauty around us?
Friends, family and neighbors are welcome, of course!
Three services on these Sunday - with the 9 am and 5 pm services at St. Mark’s as usual (9:30 am and 5 pm at Bethania).
