Our Summer Classic is Saturday, August 26
Welcome to St. Mark’s 2017 Summer Classic with emcee and auctioneer, long-time parishioner Andrew Firestone, dinner by Jeff and Janet Olsson of New West and Industrial Eats, dinner wines by Rusack and Andrew Murray, and additional wines from all of our favorite local vintners. This year’s event chair is Linda Stafford Burrows, who is also St. Mark’s Junior Warden.
St. Mark’s Summer Classic supports our ongoing community services, cultural offerings, and professional preschool. It is an opportunity to welcome and join with guests from the wider community who are grateful for and want to support all that St. Mark’s offers to the Santa Ynez Valley region.
Everyone at St. Mark’s is part of making the Summer Classic a success. There are tasks of all sorts that can fit the time you have available. Please email Linda Burrows at Lsbethechange@mac.com or call her at 705-0938 to volunteer to help bring the Summer Classic to life this year.
Would you like to help set up on Friday, August 25? Among various set up jobs, we can use 2 pickup trucks and 6-8 volunteers. We’ll be picking up and placing chairs, setting up tables and market umbrellas. Also, preparing registration materials in the office on Friday can use your assistance.
Post event teams are needed on Saturday evening August 26 from 8:30 pm and on Sunday, August 27 from 10:30 am until 1 pm or so. Also, post-event (Sunday) can you assist as 2 pickup trucks and volunteers return borrowed chairs and other items?
